A Club with a Rich History

First things first, this club has been around since 1902. That's right, it's over a century old! Imagine all the stories those courts could tell. From the Victorian era to the present day, it's seen it all.

But don't let the history fool you. This club is far from stuffy. It's a vibrant community of tennis lovers who are always up for a good time.

The Courts: Where Magic Happens

Let's talk courts. There are six of them, all beautifully maintained. The grass courts are a dream to play on, and the hard courts are perfect for those who prefer a bit more bounce.

But here's a fun fact: the club has a secret weapon. A hidden court that's only used for special events and tournaments. It's like the club's own little Wimbledon.

The Clubhouse: More Than Just a Changing Room

After a hard-fought match, you'll want to cool down in the clubhouse. It's not just a place to change; it's a social hub.

Imagine this: you're sipping a cold drink, chatting with friends, and planning your next match. The clubhouse is where the real magic happens.

And the best part? The food. Fresh, delicious, and perfect for refueling after a game.

The People: The Heart of the Club

Now, let's talk about the people. The members are what make this club truly special.

You'll find a mix of ages and skill levels, but everyone shares a love for the game. From beginners to seasoned pros, there's a place for everyone.

And the best part? The sense of community. It's like one big, happy tennis family.

Events and Tournaments: The Fun Never Stops

If you're looking for some serious competition, the club hosts a variety of tournaments throughout the year.

But it's not all about the serious stuff. There are also plenty of social events, from barbecues to quiz nights.

For starters, there's the annual "Tennis and Tea" event. It's a chance to enjoy a spot of tennis followed by a traditional English tea.

And then there's the "Tennis and Tapas" night. A fun twist on the traditional tennis evening.

But the real quirk? The club's mascot, a rather dapper-looking tennis racket named "Racket".
