T W White & Sons Bookham

Alright, gather 'round, folks. Let's chat about something that's been a part of our community for ages, yet somehow manages to stay as fresh as a daisy. I'm talking about T W White & Sons Bookham, our very own local garage that's more than just a place to fix your car.

Imagine this: You're cruising down the A246 on a sunny Sunday, windows down, tunes blasting, when suddenly, your trusty old steed starts making a noise that's somewhere between a dying cat and a poorly played tuba. Panic sets in, but then you remember, "Ah, T W White & Sons! They'll sort me out."

This isn't just a garage, it's a local institution. It's been around since the 1930s, which is like, forever in car years. They've seen cars evolve from Model Ts to Teslas, and they've been there, wrench in hand, every step of the way.

So, why should you care?

Well, let me tell you a little story. Meet Bertha, a 1968 MGB Roadster. Bertha's been in the family for generations, and she's seen her fair share of adventures. But a few years back, she started playing up. She'd misfire, backfire, and generally make a right old racket. We took her to T W White & Sons, and they worked their magic.

They didn't just fix Bertha, they understood her. They knew she wasn't just a car, she was a piece of our family history. They didn't try to sell us a new car (although, they do have some beauties if you're in the market), they just wanted to get Bertha back on the road, purring like a kitten.

That's what sets T W White & Sons apart. They're not just about the quick fix, they're about the relationship. They're the kind of place where they remember your name, your car's quirks, and even your favorite brew from the machine. It's like going to see your favorite aunt, but instead of knitting and biscuits, you get spark plugs and oil changes.

But what about the tech stuff?

Don't worry, they're not stuck in the dark ages. They've got all the fancy gadgets and know-how to keep your modern marvels running smoothly. They can talk you through what's wrong with your car in plain English, no jargon, no nonsense. And if you're feeling brave, they'll even show you how to do some simple checks yourself. It's like a little car maintenance masterclass.

Plus, they're not just about the cars. They've got a community spirit that's as big as their workshop. They sponsor local sports teams, they support charities, and they're always there with a helping hand when the community needs it.

So, next time your car's making a funny noise, or you're due a service, don't just go to any old garage. Pop into T W White & Sons Bookham. You'll be greeted with a smile, you'll get top-notch service, and you'll be supporting a local business that's as much a part of our community as the pub or the post office.

And who knows, you might even make a new friend. I mean, have you ever tried to change a spark plug without making a new friend? Exactly.
