What Time Does Howdens Open

So, there I was, on a Saturday morning, armed with a tape measure and a head full of DIY dreams. I'd finally decided to tackle that pesky kitchen cabinet that's been staring at me, mocking me, for the past six months. But first, I needed supplies. And that's where the great Howdens conundrum began.

You see, I'd heard great things about Howdens. My neighbor swears by them, and my cousin's friend got their entire kitchen from there for a song. But here's the thing, I had no idea what time they opened on a Saturday. Their website was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. So, I found myself in a predicament. Do I risk turning up and hoping for the best? Or do I spend my morning doing something productive, like watching paint dry?

I mean, come on, it's not like they're open 24/7, right? They must have some hours of operation. But where's a guy supposed to find out? I wasn't about to call them. Who has the time for that? I just wanted a quick answer, like when you ask Siri what the capital of France is. You don't want a history lesson, you just want "Paris".

Alright, Let's Get to the Point

After a bit of digging - okay, a lot of digging - I finally found the holy grail of information. Howdens, it turns out, has a magic portal on their website where you can find their opening hours. It's not exactly front and center, but it's there. And guess what? They're not all the same. Who knew, right?

Weekday Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Yep, you read that right. They start bright and early at 7:30 AM. I mean, who wants to be measuring doorframes at that hour? But hey, if you're an early bird, you can get your DIY on before the rest of us have even had our coffee.

Saturday Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Howdens – eXplore Bury St Edmunds!

Now, this is more like it. A civilized hour to start the day. But wait, why do they close so early? I mean, I've seen people at B&Q at midnight on a Saturday. What's the deal, Howdens? You can't expect me to get all my shopping done in four hours, can you?

Sunday Hours: Closed

Yep, you heard it right. Howdens takes a day off on a Sunday. I know, I know, it's a shock. But think about it, isn't it nice to know there's at least one day a week where you can't go and buy more paint samples?

So there you have it, folks. The great Howdens opening hours mystery, solved. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some cabinets to measure. And I know just where to go to get them.

Happy DIY-ing!
